📖 Synopsis
In a rundown corner of Sweden, teenage sisters Laura (16), Mira (12) and Steffi (7) live unsupervised, left to their own devices by their absent mother. Their days are wild and full of mischief, basking in the unstructured freedom of summer. But when social services demand a meeting with their mum, Laura must find someone to impersonate her—or face being separated into foster care. Determined to keep the family together, Laura hides the truth from her sisters, but the tension builds as the deadline approaches. Paradise is Burning is a bold, emotionally charged portrait of girlhood, sisterhood and survival.
