Smoovie On Tour: helping venues across Wales start showing films this summer.
Smoovie On Tour is mainly for venues in Wales that already have a projector, screen and sound system in place and want to start showing films soon.
This could include:
• village halls
• town halls
• theatres
• arts spaces
• cafés and pubs
• music venues
• youth spaces
• cultural venues
• community centres
• venues that used to show films but have stopped
• venues that already screen films but want a new programme or better tools
If you do not yet have equipment installed, we can still talk to you, recommend trusted installers and signpost possible funding routes.
Already screening films?
Smoovie can also support venues that already show films.
You may already have a film club or occasional screening programme, but want access to a curated programme, simple ticketing, audience reporting, playout tools, marketing support or an extra strand of films.
Smoovie can sit alongside what you already do.
Other ways to get involved
Not every venue needs the full Smoovie On Tour visit straight away.
We can also offer informal summer site visits where Will comes to your venue, gives a quick demo of how Smoovie works, looks at your setup and talks through what might be possible.
We can also arrange simple 1:1 online meetings for venues that want to ask questions, understand the system and explore the best next step.
Get involved
If you run a venue, know a suitable local space, sit on a council, organise events, work with young people, support local culture, or simply want to help bring cinema to your town or village, we would love to hear from you.
